Bank transfer within the country is a method of transferring money from one entity’s bank account to another bank account, as the two accounts are opened in a Bulgarian bank. 
Who are transfers within the country for?
 
For all customers with a current or savings account, Bulgarian or foreign citizens.
 
What are transfers within the country?
 
Bank transfer within the country is a method of transferring money from one entity’s bank account to another bank account, as the two accounts are opened in a Bulgarian bank. 
 
The transfers can be in different currencies according to the currency of the account from which the amount is sent.
 
The RINGS (Real Time Gross Clearing System) payment system is used for payments in the domestic currency. Payment orders up to 100,000 BGN are executed trough BISERA. Settlements of the ordered BISERA payments are executed three times a day via RINGS. Payment orders above 100,000 BGN or by special client request independent of the amount are executed in real time via RINGS.
 
Transfers within the country allow you to:
  • Send money to other accounts within the bank or to another bank
  • Pay liabilities to the budget or other beneficiaries

The internal and RINGS transfers are executed in real-time; the bank-to-bank transfers are executed the same day the payment orders are received before the deadline for the day.
 
How to apply for transfers within the country?
 
You have to submit a filled in payment document “Payment Order” under BUS if you are the principal of the account from which the transfer is ordered.
 
To execute the transfer, Societe Generale Expressbank needs to have the following information:
  • Beneficiary's name
  • Beneficiary's IBAN
  • Beneficiary's bank name
  • Beneficiary's SWIFT code and BIC of the bank
  • Reason for payment
